Stand-Up

Talia Reese was voted the funniest in her high school class in Great Neck, New York, though the votes were counted by a Dominion voting machine (kidding, don’t sue!). She went on to become the director of Bloomers, the University of Pennsylvania’s all-female musical comedy troupe. After a detour working as an NBC page, attending law school, and practicing corporate restructuring law at firms including Paul, Weiss and Cadwalader, she came back to her true passion, making people laugh in dimly lit rooms. Today, Talia performs stand-up full-time to rave reviews.

Reese has been recognized by Newsday – “Reese on the Rise,” and hailed by The New York Post as a “Hot Ticket.” The Jewish Voice described her brand of comedy as “Over the Top Humor.”

Her routines feature personal life stories, from growing up in Great Neck to life as a newly observant Jew, marriage, motherhood, and a unique take on being female in today’s society. A recent surge in interest in her stand-up clip “Female Privilege” has garnered over 350K views on YouTube. Passionate fans are blown away by the irony and intellect behind her jokes.
